As early as April 2021, the mass return to travel started. In the US, there was a 48.9% increase in motor fuel sales when compared to April of 2020. And in the UK, April 2020 road travel fell to 1955 levels, but in May of 2021, the UK led the world in post-vaccination hotel bookings , which brought back clogged-up roads. Between 2021 and 2025, the global business travel market is expected to grow by over one trillion USD at a rate of over 23%.
